Menopause & perimenopause care

Compassionate, evidence-based care for every stage of your hormonal journey.

Changes in sleep, mood, energy, concentration, weight, menstrual patterns, and the onset of hot flushes are common during the years leading up to menopause. These symptoms are often related to perimenopause, a normal hormonal transition that usually begins in the 40s, although symptoms may start earlier and can precede the final menstrual period by several years.

Contraception, IUD insertions and menopause care – all in one place.

Because these symptoms can overlap with stress, thyroid disorders and other medical conditions, an individual assessment is important to determine whether hormonal changes may be contributing.

We take the time to listen. Perimenopause cannot be understood in a rushed consultation. We offer appointments that allow time to understand your symptoms, medical history, goals and concerns. We look at your whole health, including cardiovascular health, bone health, sleep, mental wellbeing, lifestyle, contraception needs and long-term preventive care.

Treatment may include lifestyle strategies, Menopausal Hormone Therapy (MHT/HRT) where appropriate, non-hormonal medication options, management of vaginal symptoms, sleep and mental health support, and preventive health screening and monitoring.

Hormonal changes evolve over time, and treatment often requires review and adjustment. Rather than a one-off consultation, we aim to build a long-term relationship so your care can adapt as your needs change.

For most women over 45 with typical symptoms, diagnosis is based primarily on your history and symptoms rather than routine hormone blood tests, as hormone levels fluctuate significantly during perimenopause. Testing may still be appropriate in certain circumstances, particularly for younger women or when another diagnosis needs to be excluded.

We believe women deserve to feel informed, supported and heard. Whether you are experiencing your first symptoms or would like a review of your current treatment, we are here to help you navigate this stage with compassionate, personalised care.
