COVID-19 VACCINES, FLU VACCINES AND

CONSULTATIONS UPDATE

CURRENT UPDATE – 29th March 2022

 

FLU VACCINES

Private Flu Vaccines (ages 5-65) have arrived.  We have several clinics and you can book in via HotDoc or by calling the practice on 9387-2000.

Government Flu Vaccines for patients aged 6months-under 5 and over 65 are expected early April and we will advise all patients once they have arrived.

 

COVID-19 –  5-11 YEAR OLDS

Our practice continues to do the 5-11 yr old Pfizer vaccinations through designated clinics.  To book in your child you can book through HotDoc or call the practice on 9387-2000.

COVID-19 BOOSTER SHOTS

We are now doing Covid-19 Pfizer Booster Shots for all patients over 16years old. To book into one of our clinics, please go online through HotDoc and you will be able to book in and complete the consent form.  No Covid test is required when booking in your Booster 3rd Dose.

REFERRALS AND SCRIPTS

Due to the pandemic and increased Covid-19 cases in the community we are very busy.

You no longer require an appointment for ongoing referrals or scripts.   Please call reception on 9387-2000 and we can organise this for an administration fee of $40.

MEDICAL CLEARANCE CERTIFICATES

Please note that Medical Clearance Certificates will not be issued for any respiratory infections or Covid related illnesses for preschool, school or workplaces as they all have different rules and do not always comply with our Doctors medical advice.

OPENING HOURS

We are open Monday-Friday (8.00am-5.30pm).  We will be CLOSED on Saturday’s till further notice. 

CONSULTATIONS

We are now doing Face-to-Face as well as Telehealth Consultations.

If your child requires a paediatric immunisation, our nurse will be running a clinic every Thursday and Friday morning only.

Standard Consultation fees apply for Telehealth Consultations (Adults $95 and Children $75).

Bronte Family Doctors asks that if you have a fever, sore throat, runny nose or have travelled overseas, visited a hotspot or been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19, please book in a Telehealth Consultation and a doctor will be able to help you.

Please remember to wear an N95 masks upon entry to the practice.
